Paul Weber Screen Acting Workshop
I studied acting in my beloved Brno; those were truly the best student years I’ve ever had. In my penultimate year, I took a trip to Slovakia, where I had the honor of being in the class of the Slovak acting diva Emília Vášáryová.As for theater, I’m most proud of my time at the Prague Chamber Theater—at the time, the most progressive stage in Prague—and later I guest-starred at the Drama Club, where I performed until I packed it all in and left to study English in Canada. I spent a year there, but in terms of experiences, it felt like five years.I consider a key turning point in my acting career to be the fact that I filmed two short films in Canada and one feature-length debut by a young director from New York, who cast me in one of the leading female roles.
