Biography
Rostislav (Rosťa) Novák Jr. is not only a Czech actor with a distinctive stage presence and an eighth-generation descendant of the famous Czech Kopecký family of puppeteers, but also the artistic director of Cirku La Putyka. This successful contemporary circus company, with its own unique theatrical style, is based in the hall of the Holešovice Market—Jatka 78—and performs and is known throughout the world. Rosťa has received numerous theater awards in the Czech Republic and abroad for his directing and acting performances.
