Angela Nwagbo [ŋuabo] is a Czech-Nigerian actress and dancer. She graduated from DAMU with a degree in acting (alternative and puppet theater) and subsequently completed a dance internship at the École des Sables in Senegal. Her approach to a role is physically inventive, emotionally direct, and movement-wise sophisticated.
She works in Czech (the play Ples v Hotelu Savoy), English (the films Bzukot Země and Ophelia), and French, and has appeared in Czech and international projects—film, television, theater, and dance. She is capable of a variety of acting approaches, ranging from intimate psychological drama to physically demanding movement-based performances.
In addition to acting, she is a recognized dancer on the urban scene—specializing in street styles, African dance, and contemporary dance. She has been a finalist in Red Bull Dance Your Style Czech Republic twice.
