Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava
Barbora Sedláčková is a Czech actress based in the Moravian-Silesian Region. She graduated from the Janáček Conservatory with a degree in musical and dramatic arts, earning the title of DiS. Now in her fifth season, she is a member of the Těšín Theater troupe, where she has played a number of notable roles, such as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Eržika in Ballad for a Bandit, and Konstanze Weber in Amadeus.
In addition to her permanent engagement, she has also appeared as a guest performer at the Moravian Theater in Olomouc, the Moravian-Silesian National Theater, the Aréna Chamber Theater, the Petr Bezruč Theater, and the Summer Shakespeare Festival. She has appeared on screen in the TV series Modrý kód and the film Stockholm Syndrome.
Her other skills include aerial acrobatics, horseback riding, singing, and playing the piano and guitar. She speaks English. She will be based in Prague starting in the 2026 season.
