Biography
A native of Ostrava, she graduated from the Janáček Conservatory with a degree in music and drama. During her studies, she made guest appearances at the Petr Bezruč Theater and the Silesian Theater in Opava. After graduating, she joined the company at the West Bohemian Theater in Cheb, then spent four years at the Horácké Theater in Jihlava. After five and a half years in the theater, she moved to Prague, where she fell under the spell of the Orient—she studied belly dance with leading dancers, performed, and eventually taught it as well. After a several-year “artistic” hiatus, during which she devoted herself primarily to family life (she has three children) and lived abroad (Israel, Slovakia), she is moving back to Prague and returning to her acting career.
She is now a freelancer in Prague. She performs at the MA Theater. A recent trip to Egypt reminded her once again of the importance of belly dance in her life, so she decided to resume teaching belly dance.
