Biography
Jakub Duran was born on November 11, 2002, in Topoľčany.
He studied at the Conservatory in Bratislava in the Music and Drama program, graduating in 2024 with a degree.
He began pursuing the arts at the age of four. First, he danced at the Novum dance club in Topoľčany. Later, he began to fully devote himself to acting and singing as well.
He currently performs in productions at Slovak and Czech theaters—Divadlo Nová Scéna (Oliver and the Cats), the National Theater in Brno (Here I Am, Orlando; The Merry Widow; The Adventures of Mr. Brouček; The Jacobin), and the National Theater in Prague (Armida).
He also collaborates with theaters and private agencies—JanArt Theater (Confession, Painted on Glass, Romeo and Juliet), Mystik Agency (Saturday Night Fever), and Daniela Jonas Entertainment Agency (DEZ Fashion Week Innsbruck, Austria)
He has also appeared in several TV series (Pán Profesor, Kriminálka Kraj, Rodinné prípady, the series Aréna) and advertising projects in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
