Biography
Actor, host, and percussionist; graduate of the Higher Professional School of Acting in Prague. From 2008 to 2019, he was a member of the A. Dvořák Theater in Příbram and made guest appearances at Prague’s Rokoko Theater, the Vinohrady Theater, and the 3D Company. He is currently a freelance artist.
His most notable theater roles include Derbak from *Ballad for a Bandit*, D’Artagnan, Algernon Moncrieff from Oscar Wilde’s *The Importance of Being Earnest*, Lysander from *A Midsummer Night’s Dream*, Kočkarev from *The Marriage*, Julien Sorel from Stendhal’s *The Red and the Black*, and Mánek from *Gazdina Roba*.
In 2016, he played one of the leading roles (Adam) in Roman Němec’s film O otci. He received three individual awards at festivals in the U.S. for his performance. In 2018, he appeared as Pepa Kábrt in Radim Špaček’s film Zlatý podraz. In 2022, the feature film Where Butterflies Don’t Fly premiered, in which he played one of the main characters (Adam).
In addition, he has appeared in a number of television series and several foreign films, such as the South Korean Ode to My Father, the German Landgericht, the French Les Visiteurs: La Révolution, and the Chinese The Diary. Audiences also recognize his velvety voice from his many dubbing roles.
