Kristína Povodová (born November 20, 1989, in Bratislava) graduated from the music and drama program at the Bratislava Conservatory (2010) and the drama acting program at JAMU in Brno (completed in 2017). In theater, she has performed the roles of Nastasja Veljaminová in My Acting Education (JAMU, 2014), Cybele in The Great Word Factory (Karol Spišák’s Old Theater, 2021), Pik and the Queen of Portugal in Doctor Faust (2020), and Janka in Danka and Janka (Nitra, 2022). In film and television, she has appeared in The Innocents, The Head of Medusa, The Trial of the Czech Way, and others. She is fluent in Slovak (her native language), Czech, English, and German.
