Biography
Vladimír first found himself on a film set at the age of thirteen, when he won his very first audition.
He played the lead role of Lojza in the TV series *Where the Stars Fall*, directed by Jan Hřebejk. There he realized that, in addition to acting—which he really enjoyed—it would be great to also be behind the monitor and tell others what to do.
He successfully graduated from high school and was accepted into the screenwriting and dramaturgy program at FAMU; by that time, he had already played several other roles in TV movies and landed his first major film role in *Oběti a vrazi* (*Victims and Murderers*), where he played the younger version of a character portrayed by Karel Roden as an adult. He wrote screenplays, worked as an assistant director, and acted.
Since then, he has combined both sides of the camera. He has moved on from child roles to playing fathers, villains, and likable characters; playing a prince probably won’t work out, but he’d love to play the devil. He continues to write, assist, and direct.
The set is his home.
